KYC & KYB Policy

The identity and business verification requirements for using Paddle BaaS.

Last updated: October 5, 2026 · Issued by Pickpadi Global Ltd

1. Why we verify

Verification protects you, your customers and the financial system. It is required by our partner institutions and by law before production access.

2. Business verification (KYB)

  • Certificate of incorporation and CAC status report (or foreign equivalent)
  • Memorandum and articles of association
  • Tax identification number
  • Proof of business address
  • Details of directors and beneficial owners
  • Description of business model and expected volumes
  • Relevant licences for regulated activity

3. Individual verification (KYC)

  • Full legal name and date of birth
  • BVN and/or NIN
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Liveness check / selfie
  • Proof of address where required

4. Tiered access

Account limits and products available depend on the verification level completed. Higher tiers unlock higher limits and additional products.

5. Ongoing verification

We may ask you to update information periodically, after changes in ownership, or where activity changes materially.

6. Refusal

We may decline or delay onboarding where verification is incomplete, information is inconsistent, or risk falls outside our appetite.
